Bloom Films is a social enterprise that aims to spread the art and talent of Myanmar filmmakers. Bloom also distributes films made by filmmakers of other countries who create films about Myanmar. Bloom hopes to put Myanmar on the map of the independent film world.

Filmmakers pay a minimum membership fee to have their films distributed, and after expenses to Vimeo platform for service fees are deducted, all profits from sale or rental of films go to filmmakers whose film sale are less than a preset threshold. Once film sale surpasses the threshold, Bloom takes a small commission on each sale or rental.

Each individual films are curated thoroughly by Bloom before selected for distribution. The filmmakers keep all the copyright to their films and can distribute them on other channels as they desire. Bloom believes that the films belong to the artists who create them and do not practice any proprietorship over them.
